In the Delivery Tab, assign your assessment to classes or individual students
Select Classes
- Click Select Class and choose one or more classes from the drop‑down list to map all students in those classes.
- To differentiate within a class, use the checkboxes beside each student’s name to include or exclude specific students. Students you leave unchecked won’t see the test in their account.
Select Students
- Click Select students to map individual students instead of entire classes.
- Use the search bar and grade filter to find and add students one by one.
Taking a test as a Guest
- Guest mode is for students without AssessPrep accounts or for admissions/external testing.
- Copy the join link provided and share it with guest students so they can access the test without logging in. For a detailed article on how to take test as a guest user - Click here
Allow any student in org to take assessment using join code
- Enable this option if you want any student in your organization to take the assessment with the join code.
- Students don’t need to be explicitly mapped; just share the unique join code and they can start.
Publishing a test
- After mapping and configuring delivery settings, publish the test by clicking the Draft button and choosing Publish.
- Once a test is published, editing is locked. To make changes, switch it back to Draft mode.
FAQs
Unable to see the class?
If you are not able to see your class in the list, it might be possible that you are not mapped to the respective class.
Firstly, go to the 'Classes' section on your dashboard and check whether you can see the class. If you are not able to see the class then kindly ask the admin to map your name to the class and try
again.
Unable to see a student in a mapped class?
In case, you are not able to see a student in a mapped class, it is recommended to check whether that particular student is mapped to the selected class or not. To check that, please go to 'Classes'.
Select the mapped class and check whether the student is mapped to it or not.
Unable to see a student's name in the list while mapping 'by students'?
If you are not able to see a student's name while mapping through the student's name. There might be a possibility that the student is not aligned with the grade for which the assessment was created.
Make sure the grade in which the student is mapped and the grade for which the assessment was created are the same.
