The delivery settings determine how and when students take an assessment. These options let you set start and end times, require join codes, allow uploads, enable tools, and more.

Delivery mode
Choose the security level for your test (Browser, Browser with Security, Lockdown App or Paper mode). See the Delivery Modes section for details.
Start Condition
Any time
Students can begin the test any time after it’s published.Scheduled time
Students can only start after a specified date and time. Set the start date and time to control when access opens.
Close Condition

Manual
Teachers or admins must manually close the test. It remains open until you close it. -
Scheduled
The test closes automatically at a set date and time. Students cannot submit responses after the deadline.
Timed Assessment
Enable this toggle to set a fixed duration for the test. Choose the duration in minutes; a countdown timer appears for students.
Require join code to start assessment
Enable this option to require students to enter a join code before starting. This adds an extra layer of security.
Allow Upload Documents
Enable this option (only in Browser mode) to let students upload scanned handwritten answers. Students can choose files from their computer using an upload button.
Scientific Calculator
Turn on the Desmos scientific calculator if students need it during the test.
Graphing Calculator
Enable the Desmos graphing tool so students can plot graphs and embed them directly in their answers.
Spellcheck
Activate AssessPrep’s built‑in spellcheck for the test.
Anonymous Grading
Enable this feature to hide student names during grading for a fair evaluation.
External video call link
Provide a link (Google Meet, Zoom, etc.) for an external video call. Students join the call at the start, allowing invigilators to monitor remotely.
Extra instructions
Write any additional instructions for students. They see these instructions at the start of the test and can access them via the 'i' icon during the test.
