AssessPrep allows schools to provide accommodations for students who need additional support. These settings can be applied to everyone or to individual students.

Configure student accommodations for all students
- Allow calculators: Enable a scientific calculator or graphing calculator for the entire cohort. This option appears in Deliver settings and gives students access to Desmos tools during the test.
- Enable spellcheck: Provide a built-in spelling tool for students. This feature is available in the Deliver tab and can be turned on or off as needed.
Configure student accommodations for individual students
- Open the Monitor tab and locate the student’s row.
- Click the star icon beside their name to open the accommodations panel
Adjust any of the following:
Extra Time
This option allows the teacher to add extra time for a specific student. This is particularly useful in the case of students with special needs or unforeseen circumstances during a test wherein a student requires more time to complete the test. Time can only be added and not subtracted. Therefore, once the time has been added, it cannot be undone.
Scientific calculator
Enables scientific calculator for specific student
Graphing calculator
Enables desmos graphing calculator for specific student
Speech to Text
Allow the student to speak their answer and have it transcribed automatically
Spellcheck
Enable a spellcheck tool for the selected student
Text‑to‑speech
Provide audio narration for the assessment, helping students with reading difficulties
