Taking the test in lockdown mode
- Go to www.assessprep.com and log in using your credentials (email and password).
- On the home page go to the 'My Assessments' tab on the left-hand side panel.
- Click on the 'Upcoming' button.
- Now you can see the test that your teacher has published for you.
- Click on the 'Video Call' button to join the call link shared by your teacher for invigilation.
NOTE: Allow the use of the Camera and Microphone when a pop-up box appears asking for your permission.
- Once you have joined the video call, go back to the AssessPrep home page.
- Here, click on the 'Start in SEB' button or 'Start in AP Mac' in the case of Mac OS.
- Click 'Open' when the pop-up appears at the top of your screen.
NOTE: Once you click on 'Open', you will enter the Lockdown Mode which will restrict access to other applications on your computer.
IMPORTANT: In case during the exam, the computer gets restarted or the student quits the exam then the student would need the invigilator's permission to resume the test. The invigilator's permission is required to resume the test if the computer is restarted or the student quits the exam.
- Once you click on 'Open', the application would launch and you would be redirected to the login page. Use your credentials to log in.
- Click on the 'Start' button to start attempting your test. This will also start your test countdown timer.
Resuming the test in lockdown mode
In case, you want to resume the test. You would require permission from your teacher/invigilator. To request permission.
- Start the test using the above steps.
- Click on 'Start.
- Once you click start, this screen would appear. Click on 'Request resume'.
- Once your teacher allows your request, you would be able to start the test again.
How to quit the lockdown application?
1. If you want to quit SEB, click on the 'Quit' button (as shown in the screenshot below).
2. You can also quit the lockdown app from the student home view (as shown in the screenshot below)
3. You can also quit the lockdown app, after completing the test (as shown in the screenshot below)
