Introduction

Taking a test as a guest allows you to conduct the assessments for the students who do not have an account on AssessPrep. This mode is very useful for admission testing.

This mode is very useful to conduct admission tests.

Part 1 A - How to allow guests in a test?

Step 1: Go to Deliver settings.

Step 2: In the Students section, you would be able to see a toggle option 'Allow guests'.

Note: You can provide the test link to the guests. First, copy the test link by clicking on the 'Copy join link' option and send this link to the students. (as shown below)

Two ways to deliver the test to the students

1. Via join code: As a teacher, you would have to share the join code with the students.

2. Via join link: You can also share the join link with the students.

Part 1 B - How to take test as a guest?

Via join code

Step 1: Go to https://app.assessprep.com and click on 'Take test as a guest'.

Step 2: Enter your 'Full name' and 'Join code' in the given fields. (as shown below)

Step 3: Click on 'Find test'.

Step 4: The next screen would show you a dialogue box containing your student code. Please make a note of it and click on 'I wrote it down. Continue'.

Step 5: Click on 'Start Test'

Step 6: Once you are done with the test, you can end the test by clicking on the 'End Test' button at the top-right corner.

Step 7: Click on 'Submit test' to confirm your submission.

Via join link

Step 1: Copy and paste the join link in the address bar of your browser and hit enter.

Step 2: Enter your 'Full name' and click 'FInd test'.

Note: In this case, the test join code is automatically fetched. So there is no need to enter the join code.

Repeat the steps given in Part 1 B. (Via join code)

How to resume a test?

In case you are logged out of the test or your PC shuts down, resume the test by entering the 'Student code' along with 'Full name' and 'Join code'.

How to check your result in Guest mode?

Go to www.asssessprep.com (In the case of china, go to www.assessprep.cn)
Click on 'Take test as guest'.
Enter the test join code and student code. Studnet name is optional in this case.
Click on 'Find test'
