The AssessPrep Mac app provides a secure exam environment by restricting access to other applications.
Step 1: Go to the AssessPrep Website
Go to assessPrep.com in Safari, Chrome or any browser and sign in with your AssessPrep, Google, Microsoft or ManageBac account
Step 2: Download the AssessPrep App
In the left menu, click Download Apps and select the Mac tab
Step 3: Install the App
Click Download AssessPrep Mac, choose a save location and download the `.dmg` file.
Open the downloaded `.dmg` file from your Downloads folder and drag the AssessPrep icon into Applications to complete the installation
How to Use the App on Exam Day
- Sign in to AssessPrep and go to My Assessments.
- Find your scheduled test and click Join.
- Choose Start in App. When prompted, select Open AssessPrep, then click Start Test inside the app to begin your exam.
- Always launch the AssessPrep app via the website; do not open it directly from Applications to ensure the correct exam settings.
- Make sure the app is up to date before your exam day.
