AssessPrep offers four key features—speech-to-text, text-to-speech, calculator, and spellcheck—designed to address diverse student needs and promote equitable assessments. These tools assist students with writing challenges, reading difficulties, numerical computations, and spelling accuracy, ensuring a supportive assessment environment.
Steps to enable student accommodations
After creating your test, follow these steps to configure student accommodations:

- Navigate to the Deliver tab.
- Assign the test to your desired students or class.
Note: You can toggle on Spellcheck & Calculator within the Deliver tab which will enable these functionalities to the entire class or list of students.

- Spellcheck: Provides spelling assistance for all students.
- Graphing Calculator: Offers calculator functionality for all students.
- After finalizing the delivery settings, click on the Publish button to make the test available to students.
Enable student accommodations for individual students
● Open the Monitor tab to view the list of students assigned to the test.
● In the student list, click the More dropdown menu next to the student’s name.
Enable or disable the following Toggle on or off the following features :
- Calculator: provides calculation tools for specific students.
- Spellcheck: offers individualized spelling support.
- Speech-to-text: allows students to verbalize responses, aiding those with writing difficulties.
- Text-to-speech: reads questions aloud, supporting students with reading challenges.
Note: After enabling these features, students will see the corresponding icons during the test, allowing them to utilize the accommodations provided.
