Peer review is a way to learn by looking at your classmates’ work and giving them helpful feedback. It’s like being the teacher for a bit! By reviewing answers, you can sharpen your understanding and help others improve too. You can also watch the video below.
This guide will take you through the steps to complete a peer review in AssessPrep.
Step 2: Go to 'My assessments'
Step 3: Click on the 'Review' button
Step 4: Start reviewing the answers
Step 5: Select a grading level
Step 6: Assign marks for criteria
Step 7: Add comments (optional)
Step 1: Log in to AssessPrep
Use your student login details to access the portal.
Step 2: Go to 'My assessments'
On your dashboard, find the 'My assessments' section. Click on the 'Submitted' tab. Look for the assessment that has been assigned for peer review.
Step 3: Click on the 'Review' button
Next to the assigned assessment, you’ll see a 'Review' button. Select it.
You will be taken to the Grade tab, where a table called the grading grid is visible. This grid shows the names of students and their corresponding questions for review.
Step 4: Start reviewing the answers
Click on a question column to open the window where the specific answer is submitted by the student.
Step 5: Select a grading level
Choose one of the following grading styles that best matches your evaluation approach:
- Lenient for a relaxed marking approach
- Moderate for balanced marking
- Strict for detailed and precise marking
Step 6: Assign marks for criteria
In the grading grid, you’ll see different criteria like 'A', 'B', 'C', and 'D', with blank spaces for marks.
Enter the marks you feel the student deserves for each criterion based on their answer.
Step 7: Add comments (optional)
If you want to provide extra feedback, Click on 'Add comment' section and write helpful suggestions or notes to explain your grading decision.
Step 8: Publish your review
Once you’re done grading all the questions and adding comments, select 'Publish result'.
This finalizes your review for the student and redirects you back to the grade tab.
