Safe Exam Browser (SEB) provides a secure environment that prevents students from accessing unauthorized resources during assessments. With SEB, you can ensure that tests are conducted fairly and securely. Follow this step-by-step guide to install and run SEB for your AssessPrep test.
How to Install SEB
Step 1: Visit AssessPrep Website
- Open your browser and go to www.assessprep.com. and click "Sign in".
- Log in using your AssessPrep credentials or through Google, Microsoft, or ManageBac.
Step 2: Download SEB
- Once logged in, click on "Download Apps" from the left panel.
- In the Download Apps section, go to the "Windows" tab.
- Click on "Download SEB setup bundle" to download the
.exe
file.
Step 4: Run the Installer
- Locate the
.exe
file in your downloads and click on it. - Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
- Allow SEB clicking "Yes" to make changes to your device when prompted.
- Once the installation is successful, click "Close."
Note: Now that SEB is installed on your device, it’s important to know that you cannot run SEB directly from your desktop or Start menu like other apps. SEB is designed to be launched through the AssessPrep platform for your exam.

How to Run SEB on Exam Day
- On the AssessPrep platform, go to "My Assessments." Find your scheduled test and click "Start in SEB."
- A pop-up will appear; click "Open Safe Exam Browser."
Step 3: Begin Your Exam
- SEB will launch with the correct settings, allowing you to securely take the test.
